AEM has its own calculator to calculate whp
what hes saying is he dyno'd 393 in his 2J car but AEM says 340whp.
his 1J said 410whp
so seeing AEM is lower numbers his 1J might have been around 500whp

just need to learn how to work with the car.. I've seen a couple cars that have never been on a dyno and run Very good.. street tune ftw.. but I still suck at it, so I'll probably dyno tune my car since I'm a noob..Ric said:

Dont even get me started on that topic lol. The 454 is a torque motor. For pure horsepower you'd have a much easier, and cheaper time, with a 350.
Sure, thiers more motor, but that means more rotating mass, more weight, and other factors that you have to add in.

Pop a jz engine into a MKIII, and it more than doubles in value. My car is being sold for 14K, and Ham's just sold for 15K! I've never seen MKIII's sell that high before.
