nice try but nope.

The math just does not add up.

So either you misred, he misread. Or someone is fibbing.

Using the compressor map of the GT35r (which is publicly available through Honeywell/Garrett). With some quick math. Assuming a 100% VE throughout the engines RPM for that 2.7L engine (which in this planet and reality, no turbo engine even comes close to 100% VE).

The GT35r BARELY comes out of surge at 3500 RPM at about 65% efficency flowing a mere 23.96 lbs/min. The bad part is that it WILL be teetering on the surge line on that tiny an engine.

So care to try again or should I continue to trump your ancedotal "evidence" with math and physics?

It's compound magic Dude ;) <sarc>

I appreciate Figgie's responces. When dealing with such subjects
you need someone to seaperate the facts from bullshit. It's nice
to know we have someone who is such a resource like Figgie &
others on this board.

Hey iam just going off what my own two eyes have seen. ive been trying to get some videos form the guy. right now he's only running 15psi cause his clutch cant handle it. hes upgrading to a th400. man iam not saying you dont know what your talking about you obviously know your shit, maybe his gauge was wrong but i actually saw 30psi before 3500 rpms. now his setup is allittle different than the one pictured. hes running the gt45 into the gt30 instead of the other way around. like i said ill try to get pics and a video by mid week.

the guy i bought my gt3582r from said he had well over 2bar at 3800rpm with his audi s2. I think they have 2.2 liter enginge. I will try to find it in print. But its a serious project and he had 580 rwhp with that setup. The turbo spools insainly quick .

they sell kit's for the cummin's ram that use's the stock turbo and manifold.it use's a wastegate to bypass the first turbo,so you don't run it to high.people do however spin the stock turbo up to 35psi allday long.i think the stock boost is around 20psi on it anyway's.
diesel's might react different to this set-up,but people on the dodge forum's make sick power.pretty bad when a 7000lb 4 wheel drive truck with 35" tire's has no traction:)

During one of the caravan's for the TX2K meets they had a turbo diesel truck run them all down.

Pretty sad when you have 600HP supras getting run down by a huge fucking truck billowing smoke like a train
