I just noticed my tailights arent working. The brake light, turn signals, and reverse all work, just not the tails that come on with the headlights. I cant find any bad fuses, but the box for the tailights that says "failure lamp" has one black area that looks burnt. Could that be the cause?
I have an 89t with a newly rebuilt motor. 3" exhaust, 2.5" hardpipes, spearco replica. I just installed an autometer boost gauge. In 3rd gear at 5,000rpm the engine abruptly stops pulling. The gauge says im hitting 11psi when it happens. what could cause this? i dont have a boost controller...
I just finished my rebuild a few weeks ago. I removed the EGR during the process and now I have this code 71. What does everyone else who removed the EGR do about the check engine light?
so i figured out what happened. the knuckle that the shaft goes into has moved in towards the interior. now i can't get it to come back out. any thoughts?
i read something about it having a collapsible section. maybe that's what happened, because it just seems too short to go all the way in the hole. I'm referring to the hole near the brake booster on the firewall. I really couldnt figure this out for some reason.
Has anyone had a problem getting the intermediate shaft back in the hole? Sorry if that sounds dirty. With the crossmember bolted back up, the shaft still won't go all the way in. Only about 1/8 inch. I can't find whats wrong. Thanks.
I just finished making my 2.5" pipes with the spearco replica ic. My car isn't running yet, so I can't say how they are. I'd buy the piping kit from DriftMotion, it comes with all the pipes and couplers needed.
i only ran it for 3 minutes after the rebuild. i had a mechanic friend come look at it, and he said it's got to be the pump. i pulled the pressure sending unit out of the block, cranked it a few times, and no oil came out of the hole for the sending unit.
