Has anyone had a problem getting the intermediate shaft back in the hole? Sorry if that sounds dirty. With the crossmember bolted back up, the shaft still won't go all the way in. Only about 1/8 inch. I can't find whats wrong. Thanks.

Doh, I figured out what he meant. Never mind. No, mine always slide right in, just have to turn it a bit to catch the teeth properly.

i had no problems with getting mine back on... this is gonna sound wierd, but you can use the 4 sided end of a large hand file and force the sleeve open wider, push the shaft on, and then wiggle the file out... (i used this method to get it off though, didn't need to do it to get it off)

as for race fiend, i dunno what he's talkin about

i read something about it having a collapsible section. maybe that's what happened, because it just seems too short to go all the way in the hole. I'm referring to the hole near the brake booster on the firewall. I really couldnt figure this out for some reason.
