Pulled the engine today. Put the new engine on the stand to dismantle tomorrow and take to machine shop. Here are some pics. No problems taking the engine out, forgot one fuel line that stopped us for about 5 min and then figured that one out.

What is the difference between a n/a and turbo wiring harness. I have an 88 n/a MT wiring harness, can i use it for my new turbo motor.

JDM motor finally arrived after having to reorder the first one because "they lost it". I ordered through a new company and got one it two weeks. It looks pretty clean and looks to have very low milage.

Does anyone have a breakdown of the engine serial number. I am looking to find the year of a JDM motor. Thanks jay

Well I dropped the fuel tank tonight to do the fuel pump swap out and broke the line out right next to the top (no way to use a connector, too close to the top), it looks like it is all one piece so I think I have to replace the entire pump holder. Anyone have one of these?
