I have an N/A throttle cable still on the car, can you take better picture of yours, I couldnt see it that well in the last one.
I circled the part I cant understand? What is that mounted to on top of the head?
However, this will remove my cruise control and I think I want to keep that.
Yup thanks Shaeff, I think I can make this work with what I have. On the JDM motor, the single vacuum line on top of the TB goes where? Also the big one to the right of it, you have capped off correct?
OK, I need help. I have a JDM motor and thottle body and have the barrel type cable holder. Will this set up work and how do I tie it into the USDM car. Like where does the barrel holder mount at or do I have to get a new linkage. I know people have bought JDM motors and run into this...
Well havent got the clutch back yet so that is slowing me dropping the engine back in the car. I have the next four days off so hopefully I will get it in soon. Iam spending the next couple of days mocking up, re-cleaning, priming and painting the engine bay.
Edit: Just got an email from...
I lined it up and its pretty close, I dont see why it wouldnt work. The mount hole fit same place, unless there is something different about the pulley system I think it might work. According to the parts manual there are different ones for auto and manual and then turbo/non.
Anyone know if I can use the throttle linkage from an GE motor on a GTE motor? I am only talking about the one that mounts over the cam covers. I have the linkage on the turbo throttle body already.
Well, here it is in all its glory. Gotta a couple hoses, vacuum lines and throttle body to put back on but its going to get dropped on Wed night. Gotta get the engine compartment ready to receive. And yes I polished the intake mani.
The low pressure line is the same as the high pressure line right next to it, so I think using this thread: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=133&highlight=ps+lines ,it will work.
anyone know if they make a 12mm to 1/2 union. I have 1/2 npt (and/or -6AN) power steerring hoses/cooler but the connection into the steering column is either 10 or 12 mm.
