    fuel press is simple, think of it as a broad fuel scaler. you really should tune FP first, then fine tune via whatever tuning device you have. messing w/timing on a boosted car is NOT a good idea (other than retarding it).

    because the MAFT isn't seeing a hotwire MAF connected to it. sounds like someone cut off the MAF connector.

    the manual does need some rework. the installation section on page 2 should read as follows: Pink - Switched +12volt power source Black - ground (E2). AFM connector, Pin #1, Brown wire with black dot. Green - Airflow signal (KS). AFM connector, Pin#3, Pale green wire, brown dot ,black...

    Code 31 using VPC???

    sounds like the VPC pooped out or there is something wrong w/the wiring. code 31 = the ECU not seeing an AFM input....or in this case, the output from the VPC.

    now you begin to understand my disapproval of people's utilization of the FCD. in reality, the FCD is just a random pulse dropper.....thus making it impossible for the ECU to actually know what's going on. sure it delays FCO, but @ what price?

    where is the difficulty? there are NO problems using the SAFC + FCD....it just doesn't make sense since the FCD is manipulating the SAFC's output, making tuning even more difficult.

    i'm 99% sure that the HK$ temp sensor is just a std. GM IAT....perhaps someone that has one can post a pic. FWIW i sell them for $15....
