really? i thought the GN guys were all over it....
yeah, for sure...i'm surprised you gave up. it must have been quite bad. ;)
the good news is that i'll be installing it on a local car here in a while, so i can finish off my documentation....
i am unsure if the MAP ECU is compatible w/the NA AFM (VAF)....might want to check into that.
as far as "best" option, that entirely depends on your budget. personally i wouldn't bother attempting to run forced induction on the NA ECU....too much of a headache.
yeah, that would pretty much rule. unfortunately, it's not possible w/the current hardware. i'll check and see what's in the cards for the next device....if there is one.
yups. the MAFT pro can do that @ WOT and part throttle. the difference is that the AEM manipulates the injectors directly whereas the MAFT pro is scaling the AFM input to the ECU.
why?
possible...but if it's intercepting signals i don't see why it can't. heck, the eman + MAFT pro can advance....
should be interesting to see how the AEM thing would handle the retardo multiplex setup....
eh.
to answer the orig question, sure you can do it. but the better question is WHY? sure you can get away with a myriad of stupid things for a while....but eventually you're going to get a bad tank of gas, etc. and you'll be crying about a fried piston.
i tend to lean towards conservative...
i totally agree....you're doing a great thing here and hopefully peeps see that and take advantage!
i'm more saying good luck getting all those on the list to pony up....
