Well if something is sticking, it's never good to " Force Something " like your motor. Looks like you will be pulling your motor back out. now it looks liek you're going to have to start all over again. You may find one problem, but what makes you so sure there is not another problem. This time...
Okay first off the 7m-gte has no sleeves. Another thing should of been to check the head and see if it was warped or not. it seems like after he re-torqued it he just guessed the head was crap. What if the head gasket was just junk? Now I think the engine after this should have been torn down...
Well it is very possible it could be your motor mounts. if I were you have someone start your motor. and then use the throttle cable in the engine compartment. see if the engine shakes beyond what it should. ifs it's very violent then you may have that problem. I have used Solid motor mounts...
If there was a small amount that is perfectly fine. Your PCV hose is routed to the intake pipe, which in turn sucks air through into the turbo and then puts that oil in your lines. It's normal to have this happen and you have nothing to worry about.
Finally got it broke lose it's 1/2 way out of the car, and sadly I had to find out the hard way. the car dropped out the jack stands. Lucky me though no damage was created, and I worked two hours got no where with the car, and now it's in the prime position to take it out.
WOW! this sucks...
Whatever turbo you do decide on.. just do your research and read everything about it. If the future plans for your car, will be even more horsepower, then get something that will give you what you want now, and then more when you want to spend more.
I have a used a Bullseye Power 60-1 and had no problems with it. A good tuned setup will not lag much though. When you have a good built engine behind that a fine tune, and then you add in your turbo you should be right on target.
Alright well I am going to lift the front, and I don't know why the rear was suppose to be lifted, but Im not doing that again (: Anyhow, I will do what I am reading and let you all know how it is coming.
Painting a engine black and it's parts dissipates heat better doesn't it?
Ha well I am having trouble right now, I have everything disconnected.. and well everything is not working out I kept the mounts on.. and I am going to take those off, they get hung on a lot of things.. but I lifted the back end and it's not really doing anything for me?
So I am jsut going to...
Ahh, now that is exactly what I need to hear. That is what I think I will do, I need some challenges right? Anyhow, Ill just lift the rear then start pulling then move the car back what a plan.
The Ct-26 with a 57 trim is not really the turbo you will need to get those numbers. If you do use it and get those numbers, you're pushing that turbo beyond it's efficiency. If I were you I would go with a 62-1 trim turbo with a new center shaft, not the stock ct's. Those wheels are way to...
I will be using a chain fall. The cherry picker like most of you have on here ( nice but, I don't want that thing laying around ) would be great. But I use the chain fall and a engine leveler. So we'll see what happens, i will have pictures up of everything.
Yes gas just has gone up around here now this morning when I filled up it was at $3.87, now where at $4.41 My area at least has been affected by this, and I was just informing everyone that it could substantially rise. My proof is my dad will know when prices chnage considering he is in charge...
Well your number prove there is a progression losing compression in your cylinders, and I find it seemingly weird that your coolant is not a milkshake color by now. i am very curious as to where the compression leak is coming from now. You will have to tear down the whole motor now, there really...
Okay everyone I know this is the incorrect thread and this may get delted but i wanted to inform you that my father is Director of Operations at Wesco, that is here in Michigan and he said gas prices may get as high as 5.00, I thought I would alert all of you before it substantially rises...
Today will be the day I begin the process. I will definitely be making sure to use everything that has been said, because all your past experices will always be worth a lot to me. Iv pulled these motors now about 8-10 times, just the motor.. it's not bad I just hope everything goes correctly...
So far you have showed everyone on here how ignorant you can truly be. None of us are trying to be hostile towards you. We are taking your ideas, and then reminding you and informing you of the " things to happen " Toyota engineered everything on that car for a reason. They made every plug for a...
