I ordered just a 6 puck clutch disc, and I am going to have the flywheel resurfaced tomorrow, and the stock pressure plate do you resurface those or? the shop said they don't do those..?
I think I am goign to get a f1 6 puck on ebay. I KNOW! that this clutch is not that good it's that or XTD, so for the time being this is just to get the car back and running, so i know you all want to yell at me :D but I am pressed for money and I want this car to run stock. :\
Alrighty thanks, that is okay, i just want to drive this car stock.. and it's not like I am the type of person to drop the clutch off the line. So that is great to hear that is saving me a load of moeny right now.. and the stock pressure plate looks HUGE so.. I will get a 6 puck clutch I guess...
Good stuff. I did check and the rib's on the inside are nice and thick 89+ maybe it's even the block that came with the car, but it has heat sensor son the side like a engine shop, or junk yard put them on for warranty reasons. it also does not look like it has been rebuilt.
Yup they're are a lot of external i couldn't find this pick, thanks I use to have it, but lost it :[ thank you, ill let you know my finding, I am quite excited.
IJ. You are correct, I guess I could do that too. I am curious to see what year motor this is, I mean it's a '92 supra but the original motor was out, and I think it's a 89+ from the outside, but I will see as soon as the oil pan is off 5 bolts are off right now and I am still plugging away.
The motor add that was placed in this thread was mine. I sold it to a friedn in Ohio that was going to use it, he now quit his job and he has no moeny to complete his project. This would be a great option for you right now, because everything is new. Everything was blue printed.
When I got...
Well, when I got this car, it had no fuel tank, and the rear mkiv wheels were missing 2 lugs and the rest were torqued to 10 ft-lbs or less...
After that the rear dif leaked so I was like okay lets replace it ( got a spare one with the car ) and the rear dif came out without ease.. also the...
Okay pulled the motor out of my car. I guess its been sitting roughly a year. it still turns over. Well I got the transmission out now. And I wanted to see the cams and everything so I took off the valve covers, there was little pieces of plastic, it looks like that spark plug cover galley...
So I have a stock clutch, pressure plate + flywheel. i was wodnering if I can just upgrade the disc? or do I need a whole new kit? i was just going to resurface the flywheel + plate and then throw in a new disc stage 1 or 2..
What is your takes on this and what can the flywheel support.
:D...
I really just want reliable, it really does hurt when you're on a tight budget- and I know that you should never put money first when you want something to work correctly, I just need something to run the Supra stock, and then maybe later 350 hp~ I do not see myself running 350 hp~ for a long...
Okay I found this, this looks good, are there any others that would work good, Also one lines go to the tank and it just sits in there, or is there like a pickup bobber at the bottom?
And what wire do I wire to the pump I have those three wires one goes to the pump for power I think, one...

So please find some good chocies Iv been looking but I am picky :D

When you hook this up, you jsut put a feed line in the tank? or is there a certain item you buy, I am sorry I just never delt with external pums before.
Alright guys. I have a fuel cell that is going into my car, and I will have a - out of tank - Fuel pump put in. I don't want something HUGE. I want something that will support stock and maybe up to 325 hp. Like I said I want something I can mess with a little, and I have no knowledge of fuel...
1st check that all connections are tight. Then proceed to take the starter off and have it checked. It seems like you just had a problem when yo were trying to leave your friends house -- which to me is good only because you haven't had any other problems, it's most likely your starter, but just...
