See the problem with questions like this is, there is no real numbers. It's all depends if you want to PUSH your Supra Hard.. or.. if you want a nice powered Supra that is reliable. We need what you want it to be, with the proper tuning bigger numbers are achievable.
It's possible your turbo itself is broken. These noises can be heard, like the one you're hearing, does it sputter by any chance or does it only go 0-1 psi? Because if you're getting a sputtering you may need a new turbo, also is this turbo stock? I am sure it is but I want to make sure.
I think i will go with the Tsunami. it may be a lot but worth every penny. I found it for 305.00, I will search to see if it is a little cheaper but if not it's okay. Can I use this without a adjustable fpr? or do i need to get one? can the stock fpr adjust properly or is this to much psi?
Now, the Supra is a rising rate reg, don't I need the vacuum hooked up? What does that do if it is not hooked up exactly? So if I get a pump that pushes 60 psi~, for my stock car I should put it to 40? and then the vacuum controls it from 10 psi through 40?
The fuseable links come in different types, and wouldn't you think he should know what one to get, also why spend $5.00 when the problem could easily locate the "real" issue. When posting you're suppose to point out many issues and where to start. It's never good to put people on a jouney just...
I am saying check the link, not visibly but with a dvom. I am sure the link is expensive I just want him to keep looking before any things get replaced.
I do agree here with IJ. Though I am learning I have see a great set up today and the return was through the bottom, as well as the feed. So I think I will get the fuel pump soon, if I do choose one that let's say had a max psi of 45, would I need a fuel pressure regulator?
- also at idle...
You may want to check circuits of the car after everything is turned off. See if anything is making a draw. Fuseable links should not be bad - those are made to blow not having drawing issues. By the way a fusesble link does not pull energy to make something work, it just is there incase you...
Ahh fantastic. That helps so much, i was always confused on where it came through. Also that helps me with the fuel cell itself. The way I have my fuel cell there are two AN fittings at the bottom of the tank, I am guessing, 1 in, 1 out, and then at the top there is a 90 degree one which I think...
Alright I was curious, on the 7m where does fuel flow into the fuel rail? At the FPR, or the dampener near the firewall?
Also when I have my fuel cell, when the return line comes back what does that exactly hook up to the cell or reroutes back into the system?
Fuel Cut is at a instance - so basically the tips are incorrect. Many other codes don't need more then 8 seconds anyhow.
Lube it up and see what happens, I am sure it just need to find it's correct place that it is happy..
lube your Speedo, it may sense that it stops working only for a second and then sends a signal to the computer and does that to you, I know remvoed my speedo once, and my tems wouldn't work correctly.
BTW: Off topic, but if you put a singal socket light bulb in your tail lights, your tems...
I got a perfectly working '92 Supra Motor. It just came out of my '92 teal supra, should work wonders for you, has 76,000 miles on it. Has a newer* HG and everything is clean like a 7m should be thanks.
You can do all of that with the motor inside the car, it isn't much of a pain really after you've done it this many times. You can also torque the exhaust manifold bolts, it is possible because I do it.
Good Point, it's been so long sense I remembered anything about the wiring, I am good with the engine compartment and under the dash, just everything from there is where I seem to forget..
