The solid motor mounts shouldn't fail like the above stated posts. The 89+ Are fluid filled and have many of times failed. I have never had any problems with them, but I know many that have.

Well, good luck with the build, I would just suggest having everything done correctly, and have a nice tune on your car, that really makes a worlds difference when everything works in sync.
