Tank is fresh 91 octane premium. I replaced the tank last year and fuel pump is new. Didn't change the fuel filter, but my car over fuels if I go to 35 psi.

+1 to this... Nothing more disheartening then getting that custom FG or CF piece (like headlight covers) to find out that they are different thicknesses in different areas, don't quite go parallel to body lines and have been over sanded... or to put a new tail on to find its 3/4" wider than...

The flex section isn't really needed on our engines, its good, but not necessary. (at least to the best of my knowledge)

I considered the eBay DP, however,you get what you pay for. Any flange gets a lot of welding and needs to be done properly, there will always be some distortion due to the heat. Even with the Raptor DDP I had to cut the seperator off to machine the flange perfectly flat. I want no extra tension...

I have Raptor.. damn good work and coated inside and out. Not too loud, but it roars on the dyno.. lol. You must be talking jz though.. fairly certain that BIC doesn't make 7M DP's anymore.

With. My fuel pump is a denso Mkiv fuel pump (same as walbro I believe, just quieter) It was over feeding my injectors so I was going to 10.0 (or lower) at about 3400 rpm at WOT. If your talking about setting it... it was set with the vacuum off. It operates with the Vacuum on (misunderstood)

The fuel pump is an easy job, just remember to lower the gas tank a bit to do it. If your engine is as sound as you describe with a properly prepped and torqued MHG and OEM pistons your good to about 600 Hp at the crank. People tend to underestimate the 7M because so many are done poorly and...
