Most likly you don't have rod knock. It does not just go away. You did say you believe it is coming from the lower end though. Noises carry very well through metal, it is possible you're experiencing the valves making this noise.
You're right they're wrong! I noticed just from a down pipe only that when I took corners in my auto I now spun the tires going around a corner, and with the stock exhaust I didn't
True, story.
I never use the oil pan gasket. I am really unsure why almost every company includes one.. These motors use a sealant for that, not a cork gasket. :3d_frown:
DO NOT* Spray the AFM! This is a Karmen Vortex style AFM. It's a mirroring type of Afm, that would be the worst mistake.
If you need one, I have one and you can get it from me Ill just have to buy another one later in time.

Alright well updates are always a good thing arn't they?

Of course transmission fluid smells great! :3d_frown: Here's some pictures of from what I...
I like having the same person measure, and assemble my engines. The area for error is increased when you have many people work on the same thing. I am wondering why there would be two people building a motor anyhow.

When replacing the front seal on the dif make sure you torque the nut for the companion flange to the exact spec. If you do not then it will hurt your dif for being to tight.
(:
See this is what I thought he meant. I was unsure and I hope he means the input which is the one to the engine. The output is there it connects to the drive shaft.
