What if we move to a 750cc injector? I have been also thinking of a large plastic MAF housing, (heat soak) but not necessarily the MAFT. If I did it, it surely would be draw through and not blow through.
If you have 12v going directly to ground, you have current flowing. The resistance is just very small, which is why current is very high (ohms law 101) and it sparked. You also said it wasn't rubbing. Recheck all of it.
You said one place told you the alternator was bad. What checks did he use, and why did you go with the person that gave you the answer you wanted to hear?

This is just an example of a couple of checks I would do. Not that it...
It will be in the EWD, including connector layouts and connector locations. For example;

TCCS only cuts fuel for a couple of reasons, and it is done at different engine speeds. If it was oil, it would burn off in short order. Unless you are pumping a lot of oil in there constantly.
Say what?
Wrong suspension type. You have coil over shocks, short-long arm suspension. It has eccentric bolts to make the adjustments. Camber plates move a strut around on the top because there is no adjustment on the bottom. So right, you don't need it.
The CPS is installed out of time. Or the cams themselves are out of time.
Since I didn't heed JJ's correct assertion about dunning/kruger the first time, I will now back out.
If it is a dedicated drag car, why would you not go with the THM350? Besides money and time. But if it is a dedicated drag car...that will cost money and time.
What trans fluid are you using? If you have Dex 2 or 3 as Toyota suggested it is likely conventional oil and if you heat it by power breaking, the fluid will lose viscosity. The torque converter heats the fluid rapidly, easily above the 200 degrees it is designed to operate at.
I would say Dex...
