So, I went to drop off parts, new fuel filter and a pair of 90 degree sweep Aeromotive fittings for the upgraded fuel lines. I was told the new Denso 2JZtt pump was tested to see if it held pressure, and it didn't. Bad check valve? Also the possibility is the pump is leaking at the hose fitting...

Here is the rundown of the upgraded parts, or new stock parts. My set-up: New, 7MGTE, Yellow plug engine wire harness, new Denso 2JZtt FP (12v mod) through new wire and relay, new Denso 550cc inj, new 7MGTE FP regulator and damper, J-tube deleted as of 1-7-11, new 7MGTE coils, TPS and coil wire...

Well, the J-tube is a restriction that no longer serves a purpose, so off it goes. Will need to purchase an adjustable FPR too. Hopefully, these will solve the lean condition going into boost and through 2500-3500RPMs. We'll see... Keep 'ya posted. Van

So, the technician said the stock FPR is a RR of 1:1, and were getting what is needed for fuel pressure on the Denso 550s, monitoring the FP using a FP gauge, (attached at the FPR), he sees the FP rise as he steps on the foot feed. What he doesn't see is the gauge showing the FP rising when he...
