Alright so first things first.. After the last posts i went and got my 1jz tuned by ums tuning in an attempt to pass emissions here.. and after two tuning sessions and like 10 trips to the emission place i gave up on the 1j passing (longgg story) and found a 2jzge from a 93sc300 that i got at...

Yeah havnt removed the valves yet to take a look at the seats but im sure there is some sort of damage to the intake valve seats if not both the intake and exhaust valve seats.. we will see.. But yeah im impressed with how little of damage was actually done given there was foreign metal in my...
I figure.. Even if they were i probably wouldn't.. So i will post some pics after the head gets fixed at machine shop and as i put the engine back together..
thanks airhead04 that helps a lot.. I think im just gunna get the head machined and put it back together and get my twins upgraded and rebuilt by albert.. 1.5jz sounds more like when i can afford upgraded pistons and rods.. Oh i got a question.. I think im just gunna get the arp head studs but...
Wow you guys are on it!!! and IJ you are exactly right.. didn't even think of that.. and destrux is correct on this one..
So looks like one of my intake valve seats came apart on the #2 cylinder.. Damage isnt too bad.. Head will be fine with a little machine work to smooth out the chamber...
