IIRC, the MAP ecu has a o2 voltage output (0-1v) that you can program or something similar. If that is the case then yea, you can leave the sensor hanging in the engine bay so it wont trip the heater circuit. If it does not have the o2 voltage output to the ECU then Itll read LEAN the whole time...

If the dash is mint thats worth 150-200 easy. I mean mint though, no waves/cracks and soft. Being an 87 the seats aren't worth much so maybe $100 for everything else?

What were the leak down %s? Thatll tell the engine health more then compression tests.

With stock cams the engine is non-interference. Just fix the timing and itll be fine.

you know it takes 2 crank revs for 1 cam rev right? turn the crank another 360, and they should be straight up.

How much boost? Cams wont do much with stock twins.

I assume you have a japan imported car? The stock jza70 came with the torsen rear end and it is pretty weak. You've probably broken it. Find a MA70 rear end and swap it in (gearing will be different if you dont swap Ring and Pinion).

Just get a 2jz thermostat. You shouldn't have any cooling issues with the stock radiator unless its bad (clogged) or you have other issues.

nope, call local junkyards for a SC300,GS300 and you should be able to find the clip easily. For the ecu, look in the forums, you should be able to find one easily. You could also look into a US MKIV ecu as well, though will require a vpc or map ecu to run.

As long as you have enough fuel and enough octane it should be ok. I would be kinda iffy on the stock ecu, but throw some c16 in and should be ok.

Do you have a BB turbo? If so, the restrictor is needed and you'll probably blow oil out of the seals.
