Yea its his old car. We didn't get a chance to look into it before he sold it.
The CEL might not be on, but there maybe a code. He had a couple codes from before, and cleared the ecu, but never checked to see if there were any afterwards.
You'll need to cut or get a SCC or similar to get rid of the speed cut.
With an auto car you'll need a SCC as the ECU needs to know the speed to shift the gears.
Cut the stock dp flange off and make your own.
A crush bent DP wont really hurt much with teh stock twins. The JDM DP flange is only a 2.5" hole anyways. So a crush bent 3" will be ~ the same.
Stock Castings or bone stock head (stock springs, etc)?
Stock casting, very large I'd assume. Probably ~ 11mm of lift before you'll have to starting thinking about machining the head to fit the lopes
Bone stock head. I wouldn't go over the Crower 264s (8.7mm lift)
