Anyone compared good 4" to good 5" or 6" spkrs in the front?

+1 I have JL XR 5 1/4" in the front and Diamond D6 4 1/2" in the back. You just need to build a kick plate to replace the stock box in the front. Really not that difficult. It's better if you fiberglassed a box to fit the 5 1/2" into the door but in most applications unnecessary as the loss of...

    Which Spark plug?

Just ordered a set of Denso's 3010's. I will give them a try and let you guys know what I think! Thanks Zumtizzle for the new info!

    Which Spark plug?

Yeah, I figured I would pick up some 6282's and give them a run. I don't mind having to change them out every 5,000. Better for me to be forced to inspect them! :icon_bigg Thanks for your replies!

    Which Spark plug?

Sorry to really beat a dead horse, but I hope this information becomes useful to someone, I know it has helped me quite a bit. So after looking at some NGK reference guides, I found a good one here http://ngkaz.home.att.net/wsb/html/view.cgi-home.html-.html I noticed that the 6097's are also...

    Which Spark plug?

Ok so does anyone know if there is a V-Power copper that exists that matches the specs of the NGK 6282? I have been looking on NGK's website, but so far, I guess the only copper plug that NGK makes that is JIS and heat range 7 is the 6282. I am not sure if the V-Power copper really makes a...

    Which Spark plug?

Ok well it looks like I will give the 3330's a try once I bury this last set of 6097's. Thanks! Just looked at the ngk.com website to see more info about the 3330's, they have also been replaced by the 6282. However the 6282 is JIS height and heat range 7. So I guess it will work as well...

    Which Spark plug?

I got this off of SupraStore.com, not sure if it completely true, but it comprises what I previously thought to be true. After looking back over this, I think it is more applicable for the MKIV, but maybe there are similarities with the 7M?

    Which Spark plug?

Ok so what plugs, that are JIS, run well on the 7M-GTE? I have tried the 6097's as previously stated, those ran really well. I have also ran the Denso IQ20, I didn't like those, more than likely it was my setup, but my boost would break up bad over 4000 RPM until I went to the 6097's. So what...

Catch Can not catching any oil

Sounds good JDUB, maybe I will try out the one I posted up (from Home Depot) since it is easily accessible and I will just thread the fittings on for the 5/8" ID hose I am using. Thanks again for all the help!

Catch Can not catching any oil

Ok so this is what you are saying right JDub? Thanks for chiming in just for clarification, I was just about to post on whether or not a check valve is needed, but you beat me too it. Finally, where is a good place to acquire a pcv or check valve that will not give out due to boost...

Catch Can not catching any oil

Ok so I re-read the last thread you posted MKiii222, and noticed that hose #4 goes directly to accordion hose and bypasses the valve covers. So I get it now. I will be re-routing to the following: Thanks again for all the replies guys! It has been vary informative. Trevor

Catch Can not catching any oil

Ok so I can't seem to stop researching this, since there is so much confusion on the subject. As per my most recent drawing, I have the Two valve covers --> inlet of compressor air filter and then a line from the outlet of the air filter to the accordion hose, with the TB port tied into the...

After pan install, how soon can I add oil and turn over?

I believe (correct me if I am wrong) if you are using Toyota FIPG, it states on the package to assemble parts within 15 mins and that engine can be started immediately after assembly. That being said, I waited a hour the two times I have done it and it sealed great!

Dumbo, if you could please take a look at the drawing above and see if it fits better. Thanks!

Catch Can not catching any oil

Hey MDC, I only am not doing it as you suggested because I read previously here, http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43167&highlight=Catch&page=2 that individuals like JetJock and JDub recommend plumbing it with the TB port to actually use the "positive" in Positive Crankcase...

    Which Spark plug?

Well that's no good. So what are you running to replace the 6097's? I just ordered a set from Driftmotion, hopefully they are the 6097's and not the 4644's. :3d_frown: It sucks when I finally find something that works great and they change it. LOL

Catch Can not catching any oil

Ok sounds good, I will leave the filter plumbed as is in my picture and just re-route the TB port. Thanks!

Catch Can not catching any oil

Right I get you there. I just mean if I reroute the TB port, taking it off the line from the valve covers, to the line coming from the air filter to the accordion, do I need to reverse the air flow direction of the compressor air filter? As it is now it would still be going towards the...
