    7M stroker build

Nope, never had my Supra to Texas. Mine is black. Motor is doing fine, runs great, is used as a daily driver right now by my wife, she get's upset because everybody wants to race her :) Still only about 15k miles on it. Not sorry I did it, just would have done a few things different that I...

hot wheel, crazy thumping and vibration

Sounds like a stuck caliper. If it's been sitting for that long I'd do the brakes, turn the rotors if they can be turned, if not replace them. If the caliper is stuck, replace pairs ;)

    7M stroker build

That NA guy is me ;) When I seen "7M Stroker build" had to check it out. I have the 7M crank knife edged, it was 5 pounds lighter then the stock. I have Supertech valves, didn't notice the coating comming off, that sucks. Good luck with the build, looks good so far.

Yep, sure sounds like rod knock to me. Notice when it revs up and then not as loud for a second.

I remember reading somewere here about the amount of advance and retard for one tooth of the cam gears, can't remember what it is though. You guys know? If I was to move the exhaust gear one tooth retarded, what degrees would that be? Or one tooth advance on the intake? I believe with my cams I...

Discussion on the potential of the 7MGE

A little larger TB would help also if you are doing that much work. Anybody have an idea what would be the max size TB if one was to go pretty much all out with the GE, like valves, cams, port work, larger bore, etc.?

    Cold start noises

    Recommended tyre pressure

Have you noticed the middle of the tires wearing? Low profile tires need the extra pressure to keep the sidewalls tight. IJ, yeah I've been told the same BS, run at a lower pressure, feels loose, and wears them like the old tires did with too much pressure.

    Wideband O2 sensor failure symptoms?

Easy to make a heat sink out of copper. They are a little fragile, don't drop them. Grounding is a common problem, make sure to connect to a good ground. Had mine for around a year now, couldn't say how they start going bad, but I suppose when you start getting "funny" readings after...

    Recommended tyre pressure

I always run close to the max pressure on the tire. I have found that you need the max pressure to keep the sidewalls from being sloppy. Also if you don't the center of the tire will wear quicker.

    What's wrong with my brakes?

I'd do the brakes myself, better yet get your dad to help you, plenty of help here if you need it or run into problems. If your are replacing most everything it's pretty easy. Plus you can learn something. Most on here won't trust any average shop to do anything on their Supra. And as soon as...

    oil squirters in an NA

I'd say it wouldn't hurt to have some extra oil squirting, is it worth it, couldn't say. Guess if all it cost is your time it would be.

Discussion on the potential of the 7MGE

I had a so called "professional" port job done on a head. It looked like they took a die grinder and about 15 min. to do it. Got my money back when I showed them pics of the one I did. If all you are doing is taking the flash off then anybody can do that with a little time and a dremel, zip...
