You can check the inputs on the hydrofan ecu with a multimeter andmake sure there isn't voltage where there shouldn't be. One way to tell is to unplug the solenoid and see if the speed doesn't change.

On my old car, the fan control solenoid on the pump stuck and it ran on high for a day or two. Then before I had a chance to really look at it, it spontaneously fixed itself and worked flawlessly for two years. :dunno:
If the solenoid or fan control ecu is the problem we can take care of it...
I do want to make it clear that the purpose of this thread is to keep people from getting shafted by XTD, rather then to sell our clutch kit. The reason I talked about our kit is because the XTD is an obvious rip-off of it. If you do need a upgraded clutch, we would be happy to sell you one, but...
The pressure plates he is selling are stock, so the quality is not bad, but we all know if you put a stock pp on a car with a lot more hp then it's going to slip and eventually fail. What really sucks is that a clutch job is not easy, and it's not like you can just easily unbolt and return it.

At 600hp it would be ok, but at 700hp I'm not sure. You would probably need a multi plate clutch, but they cost a little over 3x the price.
