You can check the inputs on the hydrofan ecu with a multimeter andmake sure there isn't voltage where there shouldn't be. One way to tell is to unplug the solenoid and see if the speed doesn't change.

I believe that the wires coming from the ac system are to tell the hydrofan ecu to increase the fan speed when the air conditioning is on. The ac system makes a lot of heat, so the fan needs to run at a higher (or full) speed all the time when the ac is on. The temp sensor at the bottom of the...

On my old car, the fan control solenoid on the pump stuck and it ran on high for a day or two. Then before I had a chance to really look at it, it spontaneously fixed itself and worked flawlessly for two years. :dunno: If the solenoid or fan control ecu is the problem we can take care of it...

It only has sequential ignition, not injection. You aren't just wasting fuel on one cylinder with every revolution anyways.

I do want to make it clear that the purpose of this thread is to keep people from getting shafted by XTD, rather then to sell our clutch kit. The reason I talked about our kit is because the XTD is an obvious rip-off of it. If you do need a upgraded clutch, we would be happy to sell you one, but...

The pressure plates he is selling are stock, so the quality is not bad, but we all know if you put a stock pp on a car with a lot more hp then it's going to slip and eventually fail. What really sucks is that a clutch job is not easy, and it's not like you can just easily unbolt and return it.

:biglaugh: Yeah, the stock pp with 6 puck just seems to cause accellerated pp and flywheel wear, and only handle slightly more hp then stock.

We did some calculations on it and it should be able to handle at least 550ft/lbs with a 6 puck.

I recommended you go with rt615's before you bought those :nono: For your hp you need something closer to a drag radial then a street tire.

:aigo: IDK how I let that go, should be up shortly. :nono: At 600hp it would be ok, but at 700hp I'm not sure. You would probably need a multi plate clutch, but they cost a little over 3x the price.
