life of capacitor before failure in 1jz ecu?

actually, 2J ECUs have the same issue depending on age.. this is from quite a bit of experience at this point. the first thing you should do after acquiring a 1J/2J ecu is have all the caps replaced. by waiting, you are just prolonging the inevitable.

    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

IMO, that will fit nicely, but you will have to roll your fenders and may have to run some camber depending on tire.

    4runner calipers

What everyone here is trying to say is that you (OP) should run Previa calipers.. Trolol

Someone needs to be a badass and actually route it out like Vipers do.

    recaro seat into mk3

I have a spare driver side set of TT-R rails, but I'm not sure if they'd work.

    spark plug for the 1jzgte?

+1 BKR7E/4644. I'll caveat this by saying you can actually get away with running BKR6Es (stock plug) in various situations.

    Mk3 carrier bearing

Actually, the JZA70 driveshaft uses what looks (can't find a part number on mine) identical to a NA mkiv/SC300 center support bearing.. The problem is no one has tested this. I have also read this before from forums in other countries but did not care at the time, hence the lack of bookmarks...

    2JZGE-T vs 1JZGTE?

cross-over intake mani, MAF, distributor, horrid valve covers, high compression, etc.. no thanks. If I was going to do a motor, it would be the same thing it is today as it was back when I swapped: 1JZGTE or 2JZGTE.

anyone interested in cnc'd billet parts? (valve covers, block off plates, coil covers)

I must say that the overall amount of mk3 owners willing to spend to make their cars pleasing in both the performance and aesthetics department is rather low.. In truth, I've come to rather dislike the majority of mk3 owners I meet. Often times their cars will be half-assed, have mismatched body...

    92' Turbo Supra Suggestions

I actually wouldn't recommend a JZ swap for this, after all it is a ACTUAL running/functioning 7M. That has to be a collectors item by now. :D All jokes aside, I'm being serious. Make that motor amazing and show what TLC and proper maintenance can do.

"I would be willing to bet that the factory fill coolant in your 1994 Camry was green Japanese coolant made by CCI (the Japanese company that makes nearly all of the OEM coolants for Japanese manufacturers). CCI has a US subsidiary in Illinois named Intac. At any rate, the chemistry of 1994...
