Glad to see ya back.
I just got back from a small forced vacation myself, the hospital.
You probably have seen my set up by now with the twins Allen, I know I have plenty of air to feed what I have going on, think it might work for you also, ITB's are pretty costly not to mention the fab...
Are you sure of the bearings, rings and vavles?
Reason you are not rebuilding the original motor?
JDM motors should be tore down and checked, some have had good luck with them, more have had bad luck I believe...I tried 3 before I rebuilt my original.
Don't know why a lot of people have trouble with this.
#1 piston at TDC
Rotor pointing at #1 plug wire
Cam gears on the marks
Crank pulley mark at "0"
Hand rotate the motor a couple of revs check all the marks again, if they don't line up then adjust them again.
Ifr the rotor...
Sounds like timing. Did you verify your #1 piston at TDC, cam marks on, rotor at #1 plug wire, and crank mark at "0"?
The red white wire were is it located, or a picture would help.
That's why I asked if you verified all your timing marks. #1 piston at TDC, rotor pointing at #1 wire, marks on cam gears lined up and crank mark on the "0".
All the marks on and it will start if everything else is hooked up right.
Then you can set it with a timing light.
Did you verify your timing marks and turn the motor over sa couple revs by hand and check them again?
Also are your ECU grounds connected below the intake manifold?
Got a feeling you would be wasting your time and money if you don't rebuild the whole motor. Not to mention very good possiblity of doing a lot more damage, more time and money.
That's pretty bad CJ and you're still NA right? I have a Centerforce with about 12K on it and it's still holding OK. I know Centerforce has a bad rep probably with turbo guys though.
Do you think the full disk is a better choice for all around use?
