Bought my '91 T in the spring of 1992. Drove it stock until 2002 then started
playing with it a little. Car has 104,000 miles on it to date. Currently doing a complete upgrade rebuild.
On the first listing for the UGP Racing mounts they address the motor ride height. Taking into consideration the normal compression of the OEM rubber
mounts they designed their mounts height to the loaded height of the stock
OEM mount.
I bought a set of the UGP Racing mounts, very nice. They use a 1/2" bolt thru
the unit which requires a slight mod to the OEM aluminum block engine mount.
The existing bolt chase has to be bored to 1/2" to accept the larger dia. bolt.
Also there is a difference in the shape of the two units...
Beautiful car, great looking country. I just picked up a 92 SC 300 5 speed from a member here. Next project AFTER I get my build finished. Good luck with your new ride!

I bought them. My question was about them looking like "overkill", his response was "overkill in a good way".

I have to agree Mike. I really didn't know too much about them. I remember I was building a flemish bond horse barn for a great guy who owned a few dealerships here and his wife drove a red targa auto turbo. I looked at that one a few times, he talked to me one day about the car and said he had...

How close are you to South Bend? You could always stop by The Tire Rack
and see what they have to offer. Don't know about the MP Exalto but I have
used Michelin all seasons on a few cars and they work very well. I would say that you should change all four for drivability, especially in N. Ind...
