I'm expecting similar hp goals from my build. After talking to OS Giken they recommended using their triple disc clutch w/ the push pull conversion. "Should" be good for 800 rwhp. Also the shop I'm using here in Balto. is a distributer for OS Giken and had my clutch in about a week.

Hey how you been? Sorry I missed you all last summer, should be down this year!
Build is very close to having this phase done. Few odds & ends then 1st start, break in and probably 3 days on the dyno.
I hear you Ian. I'm actually thinking of getting this phase completed and fully tuned and then retiring. My "want to add" list could easily be over 30K and for what?
Really pretty car, looks like it's in great shape. Good find, hopefully good price, BUT honestly all I can say is that you are CRAZY! Sometimes I do wonder what life would be like without a SUPRA.

Hey Mike, that's a big change after a lot of work done. Good luck with your new project.
Quick question: what ignitor were you using with the coils?

The rear speakers were upgraded to the 5" Q's. I had to remove a little from the top inside of the stock housing but they fit nice. The Q's were 1 step down from the front 6 1/2" QSD's, they use a much bigger crossover. I think at the time the QSD's were around $1200.. You just need a pretty big...
What type of an AMP are you running? I do have a set of 5 1/4" MB Quart Q rear speakers mounted in the stock rear boxes along with the tweeters. These are original from Germany, before Rockford bought the company. Also have 6 1/2" QSD front speakers. I had them bi-amped with twin Alpine amps and...
Good luck with everything Kenny, I'll be following this closely. Are you planning on using straight water or W/M? What size nozzle are you planning on using?

OK. And WZ I hope you don't mind me jumping in here. I'm about ready to redo my head before it ever starts. Ian you know my set up-SIP billet cams, Ferrea +1 valves w/ BC comp springs. With this set up do you foresee any problems with changing to shimless buckets? I'm still not happy about not...
First one for real: title, taxes, tags & insurance w/o my father's co-signing: 1969 Mustang Mach I. 428 Cobra Jet auto, new in 1969. Wish I still had it today!
That sounds fine with me Marcus. I would imagine that if you are producing airplane parts a hood would be a walk in the park. Just a little paranoid having had 2 hoods come loose on me--at speed.
