I'll get some pics this week, car is in the shop now being "really" rebuilt right now. Also Guyana, I still haven't located my TEMS parts yet, hope they turn up
some where, just can't find the parts box. When I do I'll let you know if you're
still in need of them.
Real nice looking car, real clean and in great shape. What are your plans for it, keeping it stock or going to the dark side?
Also, the landscape views around your home are beautiful, what part of the UK?
Yes, as I remember it does come with one. It works to center the handle on the factory ebrake arm. The handle itself is really nice and he way that the boot attaches to the back of the handle is well designed.
Sent you a PM, I would be willing to give you a hand. I also wouldn't despair,
seeing the end result of your efforts will far out weigh the disappointment
of not.
Are you running an amp? Even a small 5 channel would help. Kicker makes a
tube sub that fits nicely behind the rear seats. It's small: 6 1/2", the tube is 7"
x 7" x 18" long. It does add a decent base especially if the only juice is coming from the head unit. You can also add a small Sony amp...
I know that about the crank balancing. Rich wants the flywheel and ATI along
with the rod weights and piston w/ rings weights for the spin balancing.
The UR flywheel has a steel insert which allows figgie to run a Feramic clutch. I was making a decision based on that info, along with just...
I had 5 1/4" MB Quart QSD's w/ their tweeters installed in the rear stock boxes w/ 6 1/2"
QSD's in the front doors and the sound was great. Bi-amped the speakers w/
Alpine amps and ran a separate amp for the rear mounted 10" sub. Real nice balance with out a lot of "thump".
I've bought a number of things from them over the years and have always had a very good experience. Jack is available with info and input if you need any, I think he does good business. Sounds like yours might have been a stocking
issue.
Hey, thanks for the tip, at least I can bounce that # off of Rich to see what he can do. Already planning on having him do the Niteride and spin balancing, along with some other parts-TMS billet main caps etc. so maybe the #'s can be adjusted a bit. At this point I'm still up in the air about...
Looks like you can cut the header panel backing piece back to just under where the support bracket mounts? Then leave a piece to the left and right side and cut openings for the side vents. Still looks like it hits an air dam at the mounting bracket but it should allow the air to dump into the...
I was thinking of staying with UR and using their 6 puck Feramic Race Pro
clutch, at least it "sounds" fairly user friendly. I have also talked to Rich
at SIP about the Spec twin disc clutch kit, that is around $1800. My only question on that is what I read some where on here about those being...
Thanks for the info, what type of clutch are you using? This build should produce between 550 and 600 RWHP, I almost bought an Unorthodox a few years ago and didn't, this time I'm going to install one. Appreciate the feed back. -Fred
Yeah, that's a small blessing. I have an Aasco? aluminum it the car now
and with my new build I was thinking of changing to either a Fidanza or
an Unorthodox, the Unorthodox is almost twice as expensive as the Fidanza
and I was wondering why such a price difference. Basically is it twice as good.
