A gt40xx really isn't a fair comparison, those turbos alone cost more then my whole kit including a upgraded ct26. Add in a downpipe and intake and you're still under the price of the gt35r turbo.

It wasn't designed with driver and passenger safety in mind, that's for sure. Does look like it would be fun to drive though!

That's exactly what I mean, why have 500hp in a vehicle with poor handling, and then lower it so it's not really even good for towing. All it's good for is burnouts. Plus it's a single cab so there is no room inside for all you stuff. Stop with the Ford and Mercedes and get a freakin Supra...

Check for loose battery connections or bad grounds.

We've noticed that some engines sit farther forward then others, but I never thought to measure where the differences were. :dunno:

The problem is that the radiator looks to be an inch thicker then stock, so it puts the shroud too close to the fan. The only way I could see that working is with some kind of custom fan.

My sack of replaced bad capacitors is getting bigger every week. Two ecu's this week, one was really bad where the copper trace was corroded away, along with the leg of one of the capacitors. It's not the only thing that can possibly go wrong, but it's so common that it's one of the top problems...

And from what I've seen it's not only a problem on cars that have broken motor mounts.

IIRC, it's too close at the upper edge of the big round hole in the shroud, right at the bottom of the upper tank on the radiator.

If the crank sensor was bad it wouldn't run at all. Usually when you can't pull codes it's because there is a problem with the ignition switched and/or 12v battery input of the ecu. Check all the 12v inputs of the ecu and make sure you have 12v where you should. There are all sorts of wiring...
