The uf and voltage ratings are very important. I wouldn't substitute anything other then a slightly higher voltage rating if possible.

That's why I stick with Falken. Price is great, excellent traction, good mileage, and I've never had any problems with them at all. I had tread seperation on some Sumitomo tires before.

Did you make sure the diode circuit is wired correctly to the inputs of the ignitor? Usually when it runs, but backfires, you have the firing order wrong. Check the order of the spark plug wires, it's easy to make a mistake.
