I ended up using a set of Porsche stops in the rear of my Mk3, they're nice and progressive.
This was after one of my stock ones split fell off and destroyed a Koni Shock when it bottomed out :(
When I ran the MoTeC PDM's to control everything in my Mk3 I was AMAZED at how high the inrush was....
Ended up Softstarting everything that had high loads.
2 on the starter should be M8x1.25 12mm head
If it's like the 7M the Bellhousing to block should be M10x1.25 14mm heads
If it's 17mm head I'd guess M12x 1.25

Sorry was a typo on my part, I meant 2 thou of an inch, if spec is 13 thou I'll set it up as 15 thou, after the first 500 miles if you check it will be 13 on the knocker ;)
