I think it's just outside it's efficiency range, you might be able to twaek the steel blade pumps but the cast ones bzzz fail, then how do you go about testing any changes?
An add on EWP was easier ;)
Only thing I can add is if you go ahead make sure you have the subframes 100% square in the car before the first tack....
Would probably even go as far to do this on an alignment Jig if I were contemplating it.
Yep had the fans running on a pair of PDM's so I could soft start them as the inrush off all the Fans and Pumps exceeded the 140a Alternator if it all came on at once...
Supra LS actually ran at 91c cruise compared to the same engine in my Ute which runs mid to high 90's....
Back when I had my Mk3/LS/MoTeC Combination I ran a pair of e-fans, OEM Ford a bit like your Taurus fans, after playing around a lot and logging everything I found that I had to pwm the fans at a low speed when cruising at highway speeds due to the small frontal area of the Supra, didn't have to...
I ran a built A340E with an Adaptor I made, if you're going forced induction the 80 will be a good choice. :)
Current Project has a built 60 in it and it's taken me quite awhile to stop turning it into scrap...
Side note my DD is a Holden "Adventra"
All the Sensors on the Engine, Temp,Oil, pretty much bin the rest of it.
I did a Single T04z/6.0L in my Mk3 a few years back and if I were to do it again I'd go PD Charger.
