You pull the trans and motor together, at least that's the easiest way.
If you don't have a transmission mount, you better get one.
Why would you want to delete the power steering?
If you have water damage, it's probably grounds, clean them real well if you haven't already.
Sounds like your TPS might need adjusting also.
I think you're going to have to fix the code 11 first, could be grounds or bad connections.
NA's already have something unique , ACIS.
Or you can fab up something like this
But as MPR stated you need to have a lot of extra to take advantage of anything extra out of it.
Something with the timing?? Could be the crank pulley comming apart, would also cause the knock. Check the rubber band/ring on the pulley.
Just saw the front seal is also leaking, if the crank pulley is bad the main bearings are probably "hammered".
Diluted oil from too rich AFR?
