Good point, I have 10.5 cr pistons and my compression reads 190, I believe that is close to 11.0 and I've been toying with the idea of turboing it for a few years now.
I thought I'd probably have to change the headgasket to drop compression some, still might be a good idea.
Did you check the timing after installing the TPS, usally it will change after adjusting the TPS? You did adjust it not just stick it in right? http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=FI&P=101
Wow..I think I should feel insulted being called an extremeist...but being mentioned in the same sentence as CRE and Defiant I'll take it as a compliment..Thanks :)
I agree with what you said except for doing as much work and $$ as a turbo swap it is I believe less work and $$ per horsepower...
Hope so, with a GE you have to be a little realistic along with a little conservative :)
Been trying to find a dynojet in my area, anybody know of one around the Sarasota, fl area?
Here; some info on the pistons, looks like there has been some body else in there. http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=EM&P=78
