Ya but doesn't the line give pressure to the lines to fill up the shift actuator things causing it to shift? Idk but I'm pretty sure that was what causeed it to take a while to d.s and sometimes not...
Idk what ever it does it was still not being pulled out all the way, but now it is set right.
Wow lol... That's weird... Well idk the guy before me had N/A injectors in the gte.. Lol maybe he also got the wrong KS... But anyways about the flat one I have... U dnt know what year or model has a grey KS with a flat side? The green clip doesnt fit on it, so I'm thinking it from a newer...
Huh... I will try to get a pic when I can.. I have one KS that is green and round that came with the car... And the one that I got because my other green one broke, is grey and flat on one side. Maybe its an N/A KS? I'll Try to get a pic up..
im pretty sure my tranny wasnt down shifting all the time because of the tranny throttle linkage not being tight enough. so hopefully that was fixed.
Ill check the tranny codes though to make sure.
And i know i have the wrong KS because the one that doesnt fit has a flat side to it. My...
Ya I adjusted the linkages... The tranny one was way off, so that makes sense. Thanks MOY.
And ya I have an 89+knocksensor so it doesn't fit in my 87 clip.. Lol so that's prolly why I have the code.
And is it supposed to kinda smell like gas in the oil fill hole? It's not to strong but I can...
Ok I was just wondering cause I have one sitting around...
What about a afpr on stock 440's with Lexus afm? Cause I have one of those to... But it's an eBay one so idk if I want to use it...
Cause I see alot of ppl using stock injectors with a afpr.
So I have this 12:1 blox FMU. I read that it is used with stock fuel systems and raises fuel pressure and is controlled with vacuum/boost. Has anyone used one?
If so, would it raise pressure enough to use a Lexus afm with stock 440's and the FMU?
Thanks
so i just got my car running good... i just took it out.. and it doesnt feel like it has the best throttle response.. when i hit it, it took a sec or 2 to down shift. And it doesnt feel as powerfull as it should be.
i just have 2.5 in IC piping, stock IC, stock everything else.
Would bigger...
Damn he was just asking about if he should take the fan clutch out or not, then u told him to go 2jz and this whole story about your 7m not working...
It wasnt such a bad question...
I just got an oil pressure gauge from autozone... I had to tap is to a m10x1.25 I think... It's not that bad.. I would deff get a mechanical oil pressure gauge anyways, it's deff allot better..
i cut a hole into my dash where the oil pressure guage was and stuck my boost guage in there... i cracked the plastic cause i was very careful... lol but i think it looks awesome.
no i havnt yet, on mine when i pull out the iscv hose and plug it up most of the way, it idle close to perfect. So im thinking i need a new one. Thats wat everyone else has been sayin and done.
So hopefully thats it. Did u try plugging the iscv hose when it was runing? it should lower the idle.
No I know that... I just swapped out the sensor from the Lexus to the stock 7m AFM... Still using the stock AFM, but with the Lexus sensor.
I'm just wondering if i need to adjust something on the sensor, because I read on different pages that's pol sah there is a screw to adjust the lexus AFM...
there isnt some kind of screw i have to adjust on my afm sensor is there? Cause my original one went faulty, so i bought a lexus AFM, and just swapped the sensor form the Lexus to the 7m stocker.
I keep reading how there is an adjustment screw on the lexus AFM, so im wondering if its idling...
