5 Zigen has the performance vs price award. Lightweight and cheap. I know some people like to be unique though. Too many people have the FN10s already.
Watch out for cheap eBay wheels, they usually are VERY heavy. For example, my daily driver wheels are 25 lbs each without tires.
91+ will work for 1JZ. However, it will be much longer then the original, since the o2 port is much farther back on the 7M.
ANY 7M o2 sensor will work, if you are willing to cut/split the correct connector on.
The OBX ones don't fit well out of the box, hopefully it was already modified and will fit on for you. You also have to worry about the o2 sensor location.
Other then that, it is very easy to install.
You can certainly collect parts on SF or eBay cheaper. BUT, if you want a hassle free setup, it will be $300 shipped for the following:
-550cc injectors, used, modified for drop in fitment
-resistor pack
-resistor pack pigtail
-new set of upper and lower o-rings
For $140 more you get a...
550 TT injectors take you pretty far. It's a good interim solution unless you have HUGE goals.
We have pre-modified injectors for direct drop in, with new o-rings, and resistor pack harnesses available.
A regrind is taking your original cam and "re-grinding it" to your specifications.
This makes the cam area smaller, so lash caps are required under the buckets to make up the difference.
You can send in your cams to many cam companies for this.
We also sell cams already done for $400 a...
The china manifold is the one that comes , out of china. The same manufacturer as the Y pipes. Also known as the china man, or ling.
He used to sell direct, but now has high purchasing requirements to keep the confusion down. Several people like the place in Cali and others can bring the...
Under $1000 is a bit tough there.
Probably the only way to do that is to have a T3 single manifold, a t3/t4 with internal wastegate (maybe if someone gave you a deal on one), and if you welded the downpipe up yourself.
stryder/xo2 manifold is a thumbs down in our book.
The china manifold will bolt on out of the box perfectly. I hear the SSauto bolts up out of the box as well, but it is well, SSauto.
There is also a little known china twin GT25 manifold, no wastegate ports though.
Anyone that thinks stock twins are better, has not DRIVEN a properly sized single setup.
It is much different then you think. Take a drive and trust me you will run, not walk, to pull those turbos off.
