Yeah sort of makes sense if it's crap from the build that 123 on the intake side would catch it :(

Yeah, the rest of them are damn near perfect, just regular wear. Still trying to think of what it could be... What did this guy mean?
The tip off would be compressor blade leading edge erosion like the kind typically seen with K & N air filters.
Does he mean the tip of the compressor blades rubbing when people use the oiled K&N air filters? If so, mines a dry flow apexi.

Front edge of each blade gets a nibbled/sand blasted look when the filter isn't doing a good job.

Oh well i inspected the turbo to make sure it wasnt a piece of the turbo that chipped off and hit it and it looked fine, granted its a newer (3-5k miles tops) ct-26 57trim. My old ct-26 might have caused this, cause it had some bad shaft play side to side and it might of rubbed and sent some metal pieces in.... Not sure... Whatever though its getting fixed.

Speedo and Tach?

Mismatched gauges look like ass gravy :nono:

Problem is finding tach and speedo that's large enough. Fuel is a bit of a pain IIRC as well. That's why if I would do it I'd remove the aftermarket gauges from their housings and get them to look as stock as possible.

No way possible for a part of the Turbo to find it's way into the Oiling system......

just looks like the result of dirty assembly.

Dirty assembly... The shop that did my HG last time didnt really clean SHIT up. My mechanic now has cleaned the shit out of everything. I wouldnt doubt it if it was bad assembly on the prior shop that did it.

Might just have been some crap hiding in behind a crank plug or inside an oil passage has worked it's way loose.....

I pull all the plugs and wire brush all the galleries during a build.

Those all look pretty good. I think 60mm match better but they should be a little angled like stock is.

Thats the only problem with using 60mm gauges. If you want then angled they will have to be pushed in further, which will show gaps. As it is mine hit the front plastic cover, theres hardly any clearance on that thing. They are angled slightly, but not as much as stock, doesnt bother me.
