    Suspension Overhaul Questions

found dorman's for less than half the price, my uncle's run a repair shop for along time and has a very good rep. he's spoken highly of their products.... high performance is another issue though, I'd want to do some more research and get good input as to what exactly is built the best

Anyone tried to graft 87 trim onto 89 center tail-light?

My options are to attempt this or go with a whole new set of trim (not exactly cheap). Seems like it might be a little messy, but I'm going to wait till I have both pieces in hand to see if it's doable.

Who has used the DM oil pump hose

Pretty absurd they're selling parts that will fail and destroy engines. I e-mailed them asking about that hose. They never replied. I wonder why? *sarcasm

What is the most rare mk3 supra part do you own

nice^ so custom doesn't count as rare apparently, all though it's 1 of a kind. :icon_conf Well I've got a set of 17" fn01r-c's in the mail I forgot about :biglaugh:

What is the most rare mk3 supra part do you own

I've never seen cupholders like those. not for my car anyhow. Rarest parts I have are probably the NM shifter, custom exhaust (designed by local supra tuner: yakuzastinger) also some RSR springs with very few miles on them.

Install the FCD before or after SAFC ?

hx40 O_o on 440's... sounds like you need another fuel computer + bigger injectors/fuel pump maybe. lots of piggy-back options, my vote is for standalone though

Killing The Myth: ATF vs PS Fluid

Lots of people have made that claim. Lost of places. I understood you the first time, still don't get it. What do transmissions have to do with the power-steering system?

Killing The Myth: ATF vs PS Fluid

This thread was concluded some time ago... The myth was that PS fluid and ATF are both fine to use for the same purpose. While both may work, one is better.

For ~450whp what type of exhaust housing would you guys recommend?

oh, true. I'm using stock cams, w/ a true 3.0 7mgte w/ ported head (bored over .05 on oe pistons makes it pretty close to being exactly 3.0 litres) I'm seeing roughly $700 for the s360 or for the FMW it's $800 with no additional options... I'd probably get the flat turbine though ($15) the...

For ~450whp what type of exhaust housing would you guys recommend?

67 should be the exducer. At any rate it looks like a 8375 (s300sx3-60) w/ .91 twin scroll would smash my power goal with good response.... still gotta have that talk as far as anything with the type of flow I'm looking for... I can't really find a basic T4 from BW in production that has a...

For ~450whp what type of exhaust housing would you guys recommend?

nice^ thanks for that info. I was looking at the s360 or the s300sx fmw.

For ~450whp what type of exhaust housing would you guys recommend?

My tuner said he did a 2jz @ 550whp on 93 oct. (pump) with a 58mm borg warner and .68 A/R. My head is actually flowing a bit better than a stock 2jz head, so I'm thinking a 60mm should pull the same numbers if not even more. I've seen really good results with the .91 twin scroll in terms of...

For ~450whp what type of exhaust housing would you guys recommend?

Looks like the .91 twin scroll is where it's at. Not 100% positive from dyno results I've seen from various engines, but it looks promising... I was planning to get a .68 A/R single scroll T4, but the turbo was discontinued...

For ~450whp what type of exhaust housing would you guys recommend?

Ok, thanks for the input. I'll have a talk with my tuner about it. Just looking for any input though, really. My tuner already said stock cams will be good for 600whp at least, and that's over my power goal.

For ~450whp what type of exhaust housing would you guys recommend?

The goal is to achieve the best response/spool. There is so much data on this topic that I found it hard to draw a conclusion. Especially since the measured results were from so many different types of engines. For my power goal I was thinking of a either using a .63 A/R T3 single scroll or a...
