Thinking about running 17x9.5 +18 all around. But want to run the fattest rubber possible. The only other option would be +38 in that size. Would be using RSR race springs + bilstein shocks. Should I get the higher offset and some spacers? I know the +18 will fit with a roll, but I'm not...
I know my 87 hardtop would run close to a 13 flat on stock turbo and shitty tires
right now this is in my targa (stock turbo, fuel, ecu, 10psi) http://www.supramania.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=70826&d=1384483825
I did the math and putting this into my hardtop (500+ lb weight...
sounds intriguing^^
currently about to finish "Breakfast of Champions" by Kurt Vonnegut
it's fiction. satire on religion, politics, pollution, racism, sex
Put it on the rollers before it gets modified. Stock everything w/ full exhaust (bellmouth DP) @ 10psi @ full operating temp. I think this chart confirms that the head is indeed ported and polished. (was told this, not confirmed)
Also got some traction arms in the mail today  welds...
I thought the driver's seat was 70 and pass. was 50. I've taken the fully loaded ones out before and that's about what it felt like.
*edit: just checked the chart and see it's 66 and 45
lmao. It's a pentium 4. If I had celeron I'd be fucked. I think the amount of content + the fast download speed was a bit too much. Almost never have an issue with it.
If I go the sound deadening route, I will have already isolated vibration in the panels. Mass loaded vinyl is 1lb per...
Let me state again, that noise level is of NO concern to me.
Trying to load the second page of your thread froze my computer. (my settings are for max posts per page) I didn't see that you used any vibration dampener (like I already stated that I intend to use)... unless the product you used...
lmao. I actually had an exhaust made to get better gas mileage, but you're not telepathic. You ought to see it though, there's hardly a bend in it.
You're right about the glass though.
In any case, I think that applying some vibration dampener to the panels will be enough. If not, plan B...
Will do. Thanks Justin
Vibration is the main concern though, but I'll definitely do my homework.
good reading here thus far. http://www.sounddeadenershowdown.com/
I'm running a vibrant resonator maybe 8" casing 3" ID w/ a magnaflow racing muffler 3" ID w/ 12x4" casing. I think I should've gotten a bigger casing on the muffler 5" or something.
Anyhow, I think I'll do the hatch first, and tackle the rest shortly there-after. I don't have the tools or...
So, I plan on dynamating the hatch of my car, and I thought I'd ask and see if that will be enough, or should I pull the carpet and do the whole damn car?
As usual, I get a nice exhaust on my car, and it's just too loud. Sounds great, but the reverberation is too much, it's rattling the car...
Took the car out for a spin. (can't let it sit too long) Had one of those nice moments when it feels like you've got a powerglide, but you don't :naughty: (car sits at one spot on the powerband w/ gas floored, while accelerating faster than if you were in traction )
Placed a sizeable...
yeah, I figured making one to sit on top would be fine.... I'll be running RS*R race springs with bilstein shocks and Tein pillowball mounts
*edit: oh, I see, you're saying I should make the spacer for the upper mounts... ok.
Just curious if it's feasible to have 2 spring spacers made for the two front coil springs. Reason being that the springs (RS*R race) sit 1/4 inch too low in the front, or 1/4 inch too high in the rear either way you look at it. Being a street car, I figured, rather than messing with the rear...
