Well, I had a 5 speed rear end. It worked great, but there was an odd spot on the freeway, where the Auto was hunting trying to find where to lock. Other than that, it seemed to work fine. From the hole it took off great, but I have never beat on it.

Afpr and bov are not required to make 400HP, so I would leave those things off for a smog legal 400HP project.
Ss for the visual, if you have a 3" turbo back downpipe, most places won't look that close.
If they do, you can always find another shop around the corner.
If the ISC was not working, the engine would still idle when you hold the throttle partially open.
If the engine runs great for a few seconds then dies, it could be related to the fuel pump resistor. I'm not sure if the truck has that, but do check it out. It is often missed during swaps.
He wanted it to look stock, which is why it was gutted rather than cut out.
When I went to gut it, the cat was already broken into about 3 pieces inside.

- 18 PSI
- 3" turbo back exhaust (3" DP to HKS Twin Tip 75mm)

Technically, the Greddy intercooler kit is not legal...

I found out that the "mystery" connector, was a torque converter speed sensor. This is not used in the 7mgte setup, so there were no issues not having it connected.

With Lex AFM, you will find fuel cut to be ~17-18 psi depending on your SAFC settings.
There are no secrets. Like I said, I will share as much information as I can.
I want to try the drive by wire, but am very tempted to go with old school direct throttle control. I have all of the parts for that.

- bolt size for the downpipe was incorrect (was 10x1.25mm, should be 12x1.25mm)
