I had my car tuned a few weeks ago, but I think the guy screwed it up after it came off the dyno. Follow along.....
When I started to drive the car away from the shop, it bogged a little, so I took it back. He hooked the laptop back up, made an adjustment & the car ran good enough for me to...
I believe I have one that is stuck in open. I keep fowling out the #1 plug (within 150 miles) & mile mileage has turned to crap. Also, when hit the gas beyond 50%, there is a very pronounced tick.
The wideband is kind of erratic, but it's not going lean...
I just spoke to the guy tuning my car in Alanta. After only one hour on the dyno, he said he had all of the drivability issues worked out & he just had a pull of 440whp at 13psi :aigo:. He's going to continue working on the base tune, then start tuning the the timing map to get the turbo to...
I cant get my laptop to connect to the ECU. I've already checked to see if it recieving power from the harness, so I know it's powering up through the harness, but when I connect the serial cable (with a USB converter) to the PC, I can get it online. I've set the com port to the correct port...
in their doors? I have Infinity Reference 6.5" in now, but I want to upgrade & I'm curious if thier is a shallow set of JL's that will do the trick....
I bought a set of 550's, or at least they were supposed to be 550's, for my ride. Aaron had them cleaned & flowed, only to find out that they only flowed 450cc IIRC. I've heard more than one person mention that USDM 2J injectors aren't 550's, but more like 460cc's. Is there any truth to this...
I had a strange problem happen this morning on my way to work. I stomped on the gas & the motor sputtered due to a bad O2 sensor, and as it did, the low beams & the driving lights went out. The highbeams still work, so thankfully I was able to get to work & back. I checked both of the fuse &...
I think I have finally found out the reason for my stumble in boost. I checked my codes (correctly this time, E1 & TE1, not E1 & TE2 ::dunce:: ) & I have a 21 & a 31 error codes. Is the 21 the oxygen sensor as with the 7M? Also, I'm fairly certain that the 31 isn't the AFM, so what is it...
Anyone know of a good source of info on the ins & outs of emanage (in english :biglaugh: ). I want to learn more about it, but most of the info I found was either vague crap or in japanese
Is there a comparable spring to the TTR spring that is a little smoother? I'd like to find a spring that is linear & drops the car between1" & 1.5" & offer a smooth ride. Is the only way to a smooth ride found in a progressive rate spring?
suggestions?
I picked up a set of poly R&P bushings to install when swaping my rebuilt rack & pinion. They're one piece, no splices, so I'm assuming they have to be cut in order to be fitted around the R&P. Is this correct? I can see no other way to get them installed.....
Are these brackets universal with other cars? I'm trying to source some locally, but no luck finding a supra so far, so is there another cars brackets I can use?
I'm looking for ideas on my soon to be sound system. I don't want one that that is overly exspensive, but I want one that sounds good & all the speakers are installed in the stock places (ie it won't fill the back hatch). Any advice?
:biglaugh: No, this isn't a swan song, I'm not leaving the forum for good. I start my long path tomorrow morning, at 5:00am, heading back into the Army. I'm freakin stoked!!! Have a good one & I'll pop back in when I can...
Oh yeah, I love Kwnate.
I'm having trouble getting the clutch bled. I'm using a vacuum pump bleeder on the slave cyl, but I'm not having any luck. The clutch pedal isn't returning all the way after depressing it, so I'm stuck. Any help would be great, this is my first pull type clutch, so I'm a little lost with it.
the tach appears to be wired correctly in the jumper harness, but I still don't get a signal. I've searched with no luck, but I thought that I read there was another source to pick up a signal for the tach. Am I right?
