Isnt there a big internal circlip on the back of the compressor housing?
I think you will need to pull the ends of the circlip together to compress it to release the housing.
I cant really remember as I did this years back.

Yeah...Energy Suspension were supposed to do a kit years back..Some supra owner was to drive there and give them his car but he wrecked his supra.
I think I heard it from Dean Marcum.
This never happened and thats why RonnieK decided to tackle the bushing project.

If you look carefully at the contours, you will notice the contours dont flow well and match up. You can see it in the 1st 2 pics that were posted by noticing the shading...

Just order 2.5" aluminum mandrel bend kits from ebay.
You could buy some for $100 or less shipped. The tubes even have the ends bead rolled too.
Worked for my supra.
