After swapping in my rebuilt 7mgte, my lower radiator hose is rubbing against the power steering pulley. Any advice for how to fix this without rigging it with zip ties? Thanks
I will put some videos up of full throttle pulls once it's fully broken in.
Here is a little half throttle pull:

See if this helps man:
Align the two red marks to set the IGNITION timing to 0*. Remember that the CPS has a helical cut gear and that the "rotor" will spin when you insert the CPS into the head. You must turn the CPS one tooth in the opposite direction when installing it, with the BASE (read...
I don't see any pics, but it could be just my computer....I had the same problem off of a fresh rebuild. Lined it up and fixed one other problem and it fired right up. I'll dig around and see if I can find a pic of where it should be aligned.
Alright I just used it for the startup. I will move to 10w for the next heat cycle and first 50 miles or so. After 50 I am going to change it again and then re-torque the headbolts
Here are the videos of the first startup. I have a bad throttle body gasket leak so i'm working on fixing that.

We started by adjusting the CPS...
Yea I used the advance auto straight 30 weight and a supertech filter. After the first startup I will change that and put a bosch filter and more straight 30 weight in. After that onto castrol 10w30 and mobil1 filters.
Finished getting the engine in and hooking everything up tonight. We started by pulling the EFI fuse to build up oil pressure since it was a fresh engine. It turned over strong and built up pressure fine. We put the EFI fuse back in...same thing. Went to crank it and it just turned over and...
I am putting the final touches on my gte swap. I got to the u2 sensor and it's a round 3 wire type. However, the store could only find a one wire plug for the 89 supra turbo. Any suggestions?
I am doing the last few touches on my gte before we swap it in today. I got one of the vsv's hooked up, but my question is about the other one. It's the one that sits about the vacuum tank on the n/a. My hard line that the vsv's get the vacuum from only has one nipple like the setup on the n/a...
I am having trouble figuring out what way that the stock pipes fit onto the car. I mainly need to see a pic of the pipe that goes through the side of the car into the engine bay. Other pics would be helpful if you guys have them. Thanks!
