I am in the middle of swapping a gte into my 89 supra. RIght now we have the old engine out. I am having trouble with the fuel line. To get it out we just snipped the dampener hard line off just pretty close to the rail. We tried disconnecting it where the two lines are joined together near the...
Are they the same length? I have tried to stick to 89+ everything on my motor, but my buddy thinks that the linkage I have is all pre-89. I want to ensure that the throttle cable is the same also. Thanks
I just measured and the stock IC is 2 inches on both sides. If anyone else knows for sure what the rest of the measurements are I can go ahead and order the rest. The IC piping is out with the engine which is like 45 mins from here =/
Yea i'd like to get one, but I already have all of the stock setup and I just can't afford a hardpipe kit right now.

I seem to count 10 clamps here(minus the 3000 pipe to TB which I already have)...
Yea thanks man! Maybe someone will know a little more about the fender and lower. Already put the TB ones on. Just need everything from the 3000 pipe to the turbo.
I already tried searching a good bit, but I am swapping a 7mgte into my car in a few weeks. I need to know how many/what size intercooler clamps I need for the stock setup. Thanks!
I finished mounting/wiring my gauges up yesterday for my 7mgte swap so I decided to hook the boost gauge up just for the hell of it haha. I wanted to get a video of two more pulls before I swap the motor over just to have a reference once the new engine is in. She still pulls strong (not fast)...
Alright sweet. I may need another one, but I am not sure. My car is an 89, but I am not sure if it's an early or late 89. Regardless my new engine is all 89+ stuff. I suppose I could see if anyone has that CIS for sale so I could snag one just to be safe.
I am nearing the end of my 7mgte build and I noticed that the probe on top of the water neck directly behind the thermostat (close to the CPS) has been broken off. I am assuming this is some type of sender unit for the computer or gauge. Does anyone know if this unit is the same plug for turbo...
I will have to check my numbers for the ring gaps. Here is the latest progress. It's pretty much done for now. I will be putting it in the third week in March. I will put recent pictures up later. Photobucket is being a chode.
I plan on putting this in over spring break in march. Since I am in school I need a good bit of time to get it all in and broken in. I will be going out this weekend to put the plugs in, coil pack on and 3000 pipe on.
That's true. I suppose I may just go ahead and use the turbo bottle and deal with the blow off valve at a later time. Or sell it and go with another route.
