Innovate lc-1 OR mtx-l, which one to get?

I use the Innovate LC-1, its a great set up. Simple instructions and installation, I wouldnt bother with it unless you get the guage combo for the extra little money you get a easy to read guage.

Looking for a little more pep and maybe a few MPGs.

Yea, cleaning the intake will show more gains the dirtier the intake is at the start. A cleanup with a dremel tool of the runners will help too!

Fast, Cheap, 7M-GE HP without a Turbo?

Ok then, If I were you, I'd forget modifying the GE as is and build out a nice turbo set up for your self. Save money and time before hand by not modifying the GE now, then you have that to put towards your turbo build. Like the post above, ITBs or a custom intake would not be a bad thing to...

Fast, Cheap, 7M-GE HP without a Turbo?

If your doing a standalone ECU and have some fab skills then do a custom intake or piece together individual throttle bodies. That with cams will do a lot for you.

Looking for a little more pep and maybe a few MPGs.

Holy rice rocket Batman!!! Seriously, if you want "cheap horses" do a cat back or header back exhaust, one muffler and resonator at 2.5" and a real cold air intake. Use cheap eBay parts if you want, but keep in mind what I suggested before, tune up and a good intake cleaning, that will help a lot.

Looking for a little more pep and maybe a few MPGs.

Check how dirty the intake manifold is (check behind the throttle body) if there is a lot of build up then clean them throughly, and to do that you will need to pull the entire manifold from head to tb off. If there is a ton of build up then cleaning them will help a lot. If you can't have your...

My black widebody MKIII with 2JZ-GTE and V-160

Yea, I'm having some issues with the rack on my car (remember I have a manual rack too) when trying to turn sitting still. Need to have a brace or flange welded onto it to keep away lateral movement.

My black widebody MKIII with 2JZ-GTE and V-160

For some reason that first photo was a turn off for me... Can't place what it is but it just doesn't look right. But the last photo speaks to me. I really like the rear bumper and quarters. How does the steering feel with the wider tires?

When I was working on the car last I grabbed the rear CV shafts and they had what appeared to be axial play. I have had a thunk/ clunk in the rear of my car for a while, I figured this must be it. So I ordered a set of reman units, when I actually pulled the old CV shafts they seemed ok out of...

    1987 MK3 Resto

When I was fixing a few friends 7M-GTE cars the same thing happend, a ton of oil came out of it only after running for a few seconds. It was the turbo drain, got a new gasket and some black rtv and fixed it. It was a major PitA to work on... After doing that on two different cars, I plan on...

Ok, so here is an update. Test fitted the adapter plate, marked the front bearing retainer on the transmission, and cut the bearing slide. Then tapped the roll pin out and swapped in the new -4 adapter. Fits perfect now. Also notched out the bell housing for the new lines. Mounted...

So I started the R154 swap today. Got the W58 out, clutch, and flywheel off too. And started setting up the R154 with the adapter plate. W58 out. This clutch has been through a lot, and still has a lot of life left in it... closing in on 30k mile on it. No wonder I heard an exhaust...
