I'll be havering to wire up my 4l80e into my Proefi.
But I'm also on Proefi 128, wiring it in/pining it in was easy. And now that I've gotten some experience tuning, it's very simple.
Boring out the Housing, isnt just that. its not a "bore" its an entire new profile for the new wheel. Not only do you have to have the housing machined for the profile for the 57trim wheel, the back side of the wheel it self has to be machined of the profile of the stock wheel, and then reemed...
Stock gage is on the oil fitting behind the AC like most swaps. Proefi sensor is on the block;turbo side toward the back. Most people plug this when going single.
Gonna bump this for people who may wanna go this route. Original bell housing will get cut off and a custom 9" torque converter from Hughes performance here local will be made, with lock up.
I went this route for a couple of reason.
-I am making my own adapter to utilize stock bell housing...

I'm working with him on a new cam pickup setup, crank pickup. The fuel rail I made him is going in along with the big injectors and fuel pumps... Got the direct port nitrous fittings installed into the manifold. Also working out the design on the turbo return...
Yes. Went through 3 stock ones at that level. Bit once I swapped to all MC stuff it never broke again. Anything over 700lbs trq is where I think the gears start to shred

I wouldn't over look this setup if I were you.
