I bought it through titan. http://www.titanmotorsports.com/dacrpuformk3.html
Well here is a little update.
I was having trouble with some things, sent my ecu in, and got it back and reinstalled. (nothing ended up being wrong with the ecu, but they did update it) Car runs better than ever at...
I actually did try the light. I put it in where the fuse is, and it seems to have full power(no extra resistance). I didn't get much sleep last night, so this may be a better project for tomorrow after I get a good nights rest, and get my head back on straight.
I will also get out my...
Yes sir. Looking at the tsrm, I am not sure where I need to start. I think I need to pull the "power main relay" and the connector at "junction box 3" Also may need to pull the tail light failure connectors too. I am thinking of starting there, and trying to isolate which circut makes it short...
I believe the gears are pretty pricey to buy separate, unless you can find a prats transmission.
I bought my teflon washer from my local dealer. I think it was like a two day wait or so.
Also my parts order was around 650 shipped from DM, this was just right before they released the new 3-4...
My car has been running great and working great the past two weeks or so now, until this issue shows up.
Here is what happened. I was out at the lake, just started my car after it sitting for a few hours while on my friends boat. Everything was fine as far as I could tell. I shut the car off...
Well, here is another little update.
I am supposed to be receiving my AEM ems back from them for testing on Monday. They have been very good to me, but the wait is what has been killing me lol.
So in the mean time I took a couple intercooler pipes into my welder to have him take off the old...
Yes, I wanted to give you the correct info first ;)
Anyways, if you pull your head or engine for any reason that would make quick work of it while its out. Mine have actually been like this for a little while now, but I am building another engine on the side, so I am actually not worried about...
I would pull the engine and have the block decked so I do not have to worry about a MHG sealing on it. Plus you cant really get a 100% smooth surface with it like that.
I mainly used a scotch brite pad on a grinder to get rid of the left over gasket materiel, so I took off the least amount of...
Just put a flash drive into the computer and either drag and drop the file, or click save as and go to the flash drive.
To data log, go up to the Logging tab on the top of the window. Click that, then click start log. After you do your pulls etc, click stop log and it will ask you where you...
And that is why you always want to run a type of fuel management. It won't lean it out enough to matter IMO. Running a 15 AFR duering cruise is not far off from 14.7. Also it seems Toyota programmed the ecu's to run a bIt rich throught the map.
I ran my car on the USDM stock ecu without egr, and did not throw codes or have any problems. You don't need a JDM ecu. I believe the JDM ecu will throw the code.
This is why I said you may need to crank it. You could also jumper the FP to B+ in the diagonists box under the hood by the fuse box.
IMO this is a much easier and more efficient way to isolate the problem. If you have voltage at the fuel pump wires at the fuel hat, it is obviously the pump or...
Do you have it clamped on? When I put it on it would stay, but when I tightened my clamp it wanted to pop off. Also couldn't force it past the bead, so I didn't end up using it. I tried and tried to get that to work, but it just wouldn't lol.
Thats the one I bought, and didn't work. I have a bead on my intake pipe, so that is why it doesn't work. It wants to pop off. If you would like to buy one, Ill sell you mine ;)
Not sure why that was hard to understand, but I will try again since I just woke up from a nap. I was very tired, and that may have not made sense lol.
Pull the cover in the hatch to access the fuel pump wiring, unplug the plug that goes to the fuel pump. Plug in one lead of the multimeter (or...
Well, it should be pretty easy. Pull the fuel pump access hole cover in the hatch area, plug in your multimeter, and see if you have voltage when you cycle the key, or try starting.
