there already in...
and i looked at every single ring, there was absolutely NO marks on either side.
and there were no instructions with the rings either... just chillin in the box.
unless who i bought them from switched out the rings, which i'll go look back through the pics, but im...
when you shim it, it makes the spring a lot stiffer, thus making the wastegate hold the boost in longer. if he had 5 washers hes probably doing 14-16psi which is why you were hitting fuel cut... lol
you should post up some pics of the car!
http://7mpower.com/duane_stephens.shtml
you could follow his build too... and he had a STOCK head. haha
if your up to do it yourself, then do it, its better to learn now and save yourself money. OR have the short or long block assembled by the machineshop, mine was only going to charge me...
bowl looks better than the shift knob too! haha
im tired of having blazing hot interior whenever i get into my car... i defintaley wouldnt want a metal shifter. just when i touch the metal parts of my steering wheel it makes me angry.
you'll save more if you were to piece that kit together. PM some of the vendors on here, espeically suprarich (sip racing) and he'll hook you up with a set of eagle rods for an unbelieveable price!
i looked for markings on the rings, because i know they are suppose to go a certain way... but there was NOTHING that was screaming "put me up"...
the last set of piston rings i did, they had to go a certain way... but these were different... just flat sides, and flat edges. Its whatever probe...
umm... if the clevites were ANY cheaper... i would be like wtf? you can get a FULL set from titanmotorsports for like HALF of some of the other vendors... shop around, and you'll be amazed on prices for some of this stuff, it kinda makes you question why it costs double from some places...
uhh... ok? lol
NDC makes a lot of bearings. go ask IJ.
if your saying DONT buy the "clevite" NDC bearings, then whats your reasoning?
and as far as going .40 over, i bought a set of pistons off here that were .40 over, and it was a deal i couldnt pass up. but if i would have wanted to...
borhor they love you because your basically a 240 just with an ma70 body... super wide wheels with super stretched tires, and some big mufflers in the rear.....
not hatin, but its the truth.
and we all know how to fix BHG's around there... doesnt seem like they know on the 240 forums.... they just keep blowing for them! haha
i wouldnt mind a 240, but due to every one and there mother wanting one, along with the miata, its no longer an affordable 4 cylinder RWD platform... and i...
our car makes that kind of power STOCK! hahaha
its already been said though, its a pure band wagon car. just like the honda civic's back in like 99 and 2000... thats ALL i saw was freakin hondas....
240's are just weak... all they have on us is the weight... and we make up for that MORE...
my friend has an entire front end in CF for his 350z... im beyond jealous!
bumper... fenders... hood... just imagine the long term weight savings...
our doors need to be made in CF before the hatch though... or we need to get aluminum hoods or something.
i remember reading in my magazine that...
OEM oil pumps are "high flow"... our oiling system is a High Flow Low pressure design... dont be fooled by the "high flow" oil pumps out there...
and here are the 77 bearings... i dont know why you said they dont make them, as i just ordered a set from titan which got them FROM clevite... lol...
