Im debating between the 3MM and the 2MM HKS Bead gasket... i think the only person who sells a 3mm (at least shows it on there site) is 935motorsports.
If your using one, where did you get it from? and do you like it? did you blow it apart?
theres a guy with an srt-4 running around where i live, he was able to push 6-8more psi with 100% methanol injection...
so i would you think you'll be ok.
if i were to ever swap anything into my 86.5.... it would defintaley be a 1jz, or a 2jz... or a 1jz bottom end with a 2jz head... haha... but something jz. and thats what matters.
althought i am having a ton of fun rebuilding my 7m with forged internals!
you dont HAVE to... several people, including a vendor on here. he just cleaned the block, decked the head, and threw a cometic gasket on it, and its been that way for 2 years... so to say that you HAVE to resurface both is a lie. its the "right" way to do it... but if you dont plan on pushing...
hommer - na cams arent "better" than turbo cams... they SHIFT the powerband up, where the turbo is most efficent.
and i would never re-use OEM head bolts... espeically if there original... just get oem or arp.
