not sure if the R154 that has the electrical speedo sensor can be swapped out with a mechanical one, simple fix maybe look into swaping trannys with someone on here...
from what i understand the motor from the supra, soarer, chaser ect are the exact same (very minor differences) the difference is the harness and ecu... how many rows of pins does you ECU have? two or three? jza70 have 2 rows and jzz30 has 3 rows. usually on the ecu it will say what body the...
haha again can guarantee you they will do nothing bro... i specified them (over the phone might i add) that i wanted a JZA70 1jz motor, harness and ecu... i spoke to them through the bullXXXX claims thing they have online and what they wanted to do was just give me a $100 credit...
my...
yeah dude i had the same issue with them when i bought my 1jz in march... i gave them details on exactly what car i wanted the motor to come from.... just to give you heads up they will not give you anything but maybe a $100 credit.... that's what they offered me and i told them to shove it up...
is your key in the start position when your trying to start the car with your rigged wire to the starter... cause if the ignition switch is in the off position it may not send power and signal to the ignitor then no signa; from the ignitor to the coil packs.... just a thought
the way i did my water pump was just remove the clutch fan and put the pulley back on and put a washer between the nut and pulley... do you have a clutch fan or hydro fan? personally if you want to do it right and have the cash flow you can by a 2jz waterpump which can cost you a pretty penny...
i could be wrong but what i think what he was looking for was a step by step process of how to wire the engine harness.... i agree w/ mattsplat72, yes a little off topic but i also agree w/Keros, we definetly need to know how to properly connect wires together to even do a harness...
never again through them... i still need to check my compression... the dude is still working on my harness and has the whole car over at his shop... so i'll check it when i can and let you all know where i'm sitting with my 1jz... everyone wish me the best!!!
only real way to see if the extension is affecting the sensors and harness is to literally check every wire from the ecu and sensors....
so in other words... check how signal is leaving the batter and see if the same amount is reaching the ecu
then check the wires from the ecu to the...
i'll just just go ahead a drop it, your right no point arguing... if i'm wrong then i'm wrong so be it. if you personally knew me you'd understand the person i am, in no way shape or form was i trying to hurt/annoy/ offend any one... i can assure my intentions were only to inform of a little...
i pay my way too. i've worked hard for what i have and can show for it. your taking one post and blowing it out of proportion... no where in the post did i say steal, lie and cheat. i don't think in any way i'm a vermin: an offensive peron.... don't know how what i said was offensive to...
hey don't think i'm a bad guy, i'm not at all just trying to give the dude some details on how autozone operates... again it was aimed at those "who rent" if you look at my first original post. again if you don't like the tip, you don't have to use in your life but it could end up helping...
HAHA really?
sorry not to ruin you scenario and shit... but the returns don't go back on the shelf, they have to go back to durlast factory to get refurbished.... please know the facts before you talk shit..
plus it's not a low life move i don't think... basically your still...
as far as rep i meant like if you work at autozone you don't know shit about cars or specialty tools... not that i was know for steal or returning shit, i just know they would take the shit back basically no questions asked cause i would literally see it done daily....
and why post...
