i wouldn't consider it false information, it was information i recieved that worked for a few others all they did was switch their n/a cluster for a turbo cluster and their tach worked again... i asked for this information because i'm going through the same is issue only difference is my car...

WOW!!! and i thought i had trouble with my install... all i had to do was loosen the mounts on the motor and the frame... but then again i have an 87 (square mounts) so it's probably different

FIPG? what's that? yeah the y pipe is a headache only issue i'm having with mine is the part that comes with it (the long pipe) doesn't seem to bolt up right and hits against the bottom of the firewall so i took a hammer to it to help the clearance issue but it still fits funny... any of you...

only issue with returning the motor is... you have to pay for shipping it back also they charge some bullshit 15% restocking fee... you may get the engine you want but at a higher price cause of the initial return.... with some of theses companies your lucky to get anything off them so since...
you can't take the u-joint out of the r154 that is jdm... well i couldn't with the r154 yoke that came with my 1jz... it seems to be pressed in and motched so it would be a permanent joint... best bet is a r154 turbo driveshaft this is a direct bolt on... i noticed that usdm R154 driveshaft have...
